Aldereast
Limited was founded in 1981 and is located on Vanguard Road, Gapton Hall
Industrial Estate in Great Yarmouth. Our works are fully equipped, but if our
customers wish we can undertake agreed projects at their own premises or sites.
Our business is coded welding, fabrication and the manufacture of high quality
equipment to customer specification. Our welding procedures are approved by
Lloyds and Det Norske Veritas and cover Manual Metal Arc and Tungsten Inert Gas
Welding for both carbon and stainless steel. Full certification for all coded
work can be endorsed by Lloyds, D.N.V. or any other certifying body required by
our customers. The materials we normally work include:-

Our main workshop is 4000 ft²
with a height to the eaves of 18 ft. Large doors measuring 16 ft x 18 ft are
situated at either end of the workshop allowing easy access. One of the main
features of our well equipped workshop is our 5 tonne overhead crane, which has
a clearance distance under the hook of 15 ft. With the use of our crane and
forklift the handling of both large projects and material can easily be
undertaken.
We also have a large open yard with security fencing at the
rear of our workshop that extends to 1/2 acre which is easily accessible by the
largest of lorries.![]()
Aldereast's Health and Safety
policy is in accordance with the Health and Safety at work act 1974 and is both
issued to all employees and on display in our office as well as the workshop.
Safety plays a very important role within Aldereast, all our employees take
responsibility for both their own safety as well as the safety of others by
reporting all faulty equipment and unsafe practises to senior personnel
immediately.

All
our staff are trained by qualified personnel on the safe and correct use of all
the equipment. When staff have achieved a satisfactory standard on a piece of
equipment they will then be awarded a certificate of training and will be
authorised to use that equipment without supervision. A list of authorised
personnel is displayed in our workshop.
