One of the main features of our well equipped workshop is our 5 tonne overhead crane, which has a clearance distance under the hook of 15 ft. With the use of our crane and forklift the handling of both large projects and material can easily be undertaken.

We also have a large open yard with security fencing at the rear of our workshop that extends to 1/2 acre which is easily accessible by the largest of lorries.

Aldereast's Health and Safety policy is in accordance with the Health and Safety at work act 1974 and is both issued to all employees and on display in our office as well as the workshop.

Safety plays a very important role within Aldereast, all our employees take responsibility for both their own safety as well as the safety of others by reporting all faulty equipment and unsafe practises to senior personnel immediately.

All our staff are trained by qualified personnel on the safe and correct use of all the equipment. When staff have achieved a satisfactory standard on a piece of equipment they will then be awarded a certificate of training and will be authorised to use that equipment without supervision. A list of authorised personnel is displayed in our workshop.
